What is the ratio of cleaner to water that you use? I've used an old Nat Geo and the ratio the bottle said but no results. And how old do the magazines have to be? I'm using ones from the '80s.

Froyle, thank you for this. I have so many old photos from my mum's wartime RAF service and even an 1890s photo of her gran. Will have to do some serious editing on some of them, but what a fun rabbit hole to go down! I would love to end up with a modern image made from such old nostalgic family history. Here goes the next couple of months ☺
